Switching to the imperial system would be big stupid. I wish the US would just switch over to metric, and this wouldn't even be discussed. I don't even blame the Brits on this one, it would make trade with the US a lot easier. But is it worth going big stupid?

It is pretty retarded. We use a mix of imperial and metric for various things, but to think that we've been teaching metric in schools and whatnot for this long just to revert is stupid. Literally nobody who uses these measures day to day is going to want things to change, its just a sort of muh freedom move to appease a certain crowd.
