Earlier this week several Foyle voters contacted the Belfast Telegraph after they arrived at their polling stations to discover that their vote had been taken.
This was also happening in a couple of constituencies down south in England. Hundreds of uni students were apparently turned away from a polling station even though they had ID and cards too. It may not sound like a lot, but in places where a 1-2% swing to take a constituency, a few hundred votes will do it.
