Yeah the writing here is crap. The story itself though is pretty disturbing, this is the first time networks have cut off an address from a sitting president. It's pure lunacy, what would've happened if Walter Cronkite cut away from from a JFK address to mock his accent and philandering? It's a sign of truly dismal times.

AP used to be a good source for news that simply reported events as they happened. This reads like a National Enquirer tabloid.
