Good, but sad people would abandon animals like that. I would never ever leave my pets. I always leave the carriers and a little bug out box of food and litter handy (box doubles as a litter box) just in case because I've had to evacuate from fires before and having that ready ahead of time really helps
My dogs are coming with me no matter what. They are a part of my family.
