Well she was switching talent agencies and there was definitely friction with her and NBC. It was a very innocuous comment though.
I don't really care for Meghan Kelly but she did nothing wrong. She condemns blackface then states how it was considered more acceptable when she was growing up as long as you were a specific person. She should never have apologized to be honest. I'm betting NBC was just looking for a reason to get rid of her b/c low ratings.
I don't know what she actually said about the blackface and assume she just stepped in it. There must be other ways to get an easy 69 million.
The thing is she didn't actually "say" anything about blackface, all she did was mention that when she was a kid people would do it to try and look like the people they're dressing up as.
Then the panel and NBC tried to make a big deal out of it even though no-one actually protested or called for her firing. They're just trying todrum up viewers.
I wonder if she did it on purpose
