very similar thing happened here a week or so ago. black kid driving his white grandma in her car and he gets detained because someone reported to police a kidnapping or some shit. police didn't take any name or anything of the person reporting it, can't know if they were racist, stupid or a scapegoat for shitty cops.

i don't see it as a valid reason to not want him as a mentor for my kids... if that program is the only thing he does, that would be valid to me but it doesn't say anything about that.

It's like a plot for a Will Ferrel skit, some guy that can't do anything, decides to start a mentoring program.

what? there's nothing there to say he can't or doesn't do anything else and if he doesn't do anything else that would be a legit reason to not want him around your kids...
