It's appalling that a few of our state bureaucrats are openly threatening prosecution of people who follow federal law. The only way a state should even attempt something like that is if the people of the state vote on it first.
As for civil war, I'd say we're in a "cold" civil war at this point

I agree with your 'cold' civil way scenario. I have never see anything like this in my lifetime. Never before in the past has the losing party not come together with the winners for the good of the country. It's a sign of our times and doesn't bode well for any future.
