The power I had over these women is that they admired me. And I wielded that power irresponsibly.

Wut?
If that makes sense, then everyone is a rapist. If you've had sex, it was probably because the person respected and admired you.
And you used that 'power' to get some. Shame on you!
Shame on all of us! Burn the wiches! Burn everyone!

Being in power over someone means, their boss at work, a teacher at school, a cop, etc.
Not a performer and a fan. The fan has choice, so if they chose to participate, that's on them.
Groupies are not rape victims.

Some of these "sex scandals" are frankly quite frightening, not the rapes/pedo stuff, those people most definitely deserve their day in court, but the ones that sort of fall into the creepy/awkward/fetish zone. Some of the cases where you can tell there is a misinterpreted signal or where there is clearly the option to walk away in my mind don't warrant public shaming. I just think about all the guys who have really awkward uncomfortable moments in life where they think someone else may like them and finally work up the courage to make a move (like say grabbing a girl you think likes you's butt) but are thus rejected and embarrassed after, I feel like digging up a moment like that to ruin someone's career 30 years later and label them with a sexual assault is terrifying.
