I honestly don't think Trump makes it to the end of a second term if he gets reelected. Best thing that could happen is that Congress gets an influx of politicians who will return Congress to its Constitutional standing without partisan pettiness. That or Bolton and Pompeo being incapacitated or removed from their respective roles. If Trump goes to war with Iran it will probably be his undoing.

Is it too much to hope for both?

The more they cry, the more they undermine themselves. And it's glorious. The way they've behaved since the 2016 election windup has convinced me that they are 100% not trustable in any measure, are pure evil, and should never be in power again.

I can't wait until 2020 rolls around, Trump is re-elected, and the "internet Russian bots" start pushing to repeal the 2 term limit just to mess with democrats thus causing them to lose the 2024 election.

This is what winning feels like.

I don't understand how Democrats don't understand that. Are the people who scream about impeachment seriously unaware that Trump won because of the way Hillary and the Democrats treated the average American?

Yes. They haven't realized that the demographics have shifted, people are tired of being boxed into groups and the disenfranchised or marginalize because that's how democrats work - they literally have no other platform or framework to work against.

Take, for example, Trump's tax cuts. They're screaming bloody murder over it yet the type of voter republicans care about (which are the majority) are the kind of people who see a gain from that. I make enough money to bump me into that cusp between middle and upper class and not only did my paychecks increase, I got so much of a tax return that they can't pay it all in one year. Anyone in the middle class and higher sees these kinds of benefits as long as they run their taxes, investments, and finances correctly - and most people in middle-middle class and up do. They see the most unrealized benefit from a stronger economy because the economy supports people who "do things with money" instead of just paying for rent, utilities, and groceries. They're tired of being pitted against other "boxed groups" and they have the voting power and money to network with other people - more than the lower class.

They can't even begin to comprehend these things because the democrat party is built on a matchstick framework of socialism which is opposed to those kinds of things.

Add to this how they treated people during the 2016 election and gun grabbing and 6 states passing egregious abortion laws allowing them at any time for any reason and it's a recipe for republican control.

That is so well put I am going to use it myself and claim I made it up.
