And so the democratic party divides their voter base with a plethora of candidates thus making the eventual candidate unliked by most and most likely reviled or at least dislike by many minorities, central, and swing voters.

Between this and Mueller-gate, it pretty much guarantees Trump a 2020 win.

2016 really was a disaster for them that should have caused profound reflection and change, and it seems rather than spending any of the last few years analyzing it and preparing a coherent response, they've done nothing. Being let down by both parties is nothing new, so I guess this was to be expected.
