That's pretty much what I say to people. If you know it's illegal and you do it anyway, expect to be punished for it. If you don't think it should be illegal, rally to have the law changed.

Agreed. There are times to perform civil disobedience but that should only happen after the government refuses your petition for change.

We have a lawful immigration system. Just follow the laws. Change them if they don't work. It's easy peasy.
