This is not the sort of behavior we need from critical infrastructure.

Mozilla has been too busy with dumb social justice causes for the last 5 years and really let their focus on privacy and user control fail. Firefox used to be the technically superior browser, but now they're just competing with Google for which organisation can virtue signal more. No wonder the software quality is lacking

I always thought firefox was bloated and awkward and full of stupid crap. It seemed to leak memory, too. I quit using it and moved to Pale Moon some years ago and switched between that, Via, Chrome, and Opera. Peter sticks to Brave.

I mostly use opera. Honestly, I sick to death of all the browsers. I don't want them doing anything in the browser unless I've configured a setting to make it happen. I hate the Opera search string suggestions. In fact, I honest hate any browser that thinks I want to see anything in a new browser page except a blank page.

Peter wants his Mozilla donation back.

Users want a stable platform, not some nerd's social politics.

I think products that go off the deep end as Mozilla is doing should be punished by boycotting. It isn't the Mozilla Foundation's tasking to make politically-based decisions for their userbase.
