I've had too many perspective clients say they want wordpress.. and I'm always like.. why?

If you're asking me to make it pixel perfect to spec anyway I'm going to have to hand write the html and css anyway.

The CMS is nice but it doesn't seem worth it to incorporate a ton of code that seems sketchy as fuck. And it looks like I was right to think that.

It just seems like if I wanted to build vulnerabilities into other people's sites and I wanted to target less tech-savvy people with businesses that can actually be exploited.. I would be writing third party wordpress plugins.

Even if not intending anything malicious.. if I wanted to develop something to get my name out there within a community that isn't going to look closely at my code and judge me for knowing nothing about security, and I wanted praise for something looking pretty, I would be writing third party wordpress plugins.
