Ok. So I have got free 6 moths of zogg VPN. It looks like a good piece of VPN software but it's even worse than free VPN (windscribe). Why? I tested this AV in ipleak.net and when WIndscribe showed me my changed IP and only one DNS server (without my real DNS), the zogg VPN showed me this https://imagebin.ca/v/4imN5LeAL7q5

So I dont reccomend this VPN

Okay, I use a freebie vpn(an academic project), and sometimes the servers they list are in the US or UK. I NEVER use those servers. That's the MPAA weaseling their way into the process to track you. Japan, Korea, Thailand. US and UK always have the best bandwidth, so it's tempting. But I got a warning letter from my old ISP about a torrent I downloaded on vpn, so .... They are always trying to spy. They seed torrents just so they get the IP of the people who download them, and they get into vpns for the same reason.

I'm curious, which academic project offers a free vpn?

I kinda don't want to say, because its already getting too crowded. But I'll say this: its Japanese originally. The software is English language. It is very quirky, and some servers just plain don't work, but some are amazing.
