I used to do paid surveys and would occasionally get to try a product before it was released. They didn't pay much so don't get excited but it was legit. There was always a survey question about how much I trusted a company. Never gave more than the lowest rating for any company.
Never trust a company. The user/consumer is not in their interest. Money is what they're there for and that's all that's in their interest.
