Well if SF drives out the tech companies (if it's hard to attract talent they will shift more operations to other locations, I.E. google's second campus) people won't want to live there which will drive the rent down.
Are they next, going to ban employees (hoping to avoid a 20 dollar meal) from bringing their own lunch to work?
