So, the article is contending that Trump is stupid because the image would have the RAM intact for viewing data logs. This is assuming that from the hack in what, somewhere between April-June of 2016, the machine was never booted or bounced - which means no software updates, no power outages over 45 minutes or so (if the machine even had a UPS - these Pakistani brothers didn't seem like they were the greatest IT people of all time), and never once did the server hang requiring a power cycle.
We know that Guiccifer2.0 did the hack, and that he did it from somewhere in Romania, supposedly. This article says that once, a hack came in and a different IP was attained, and was able to be linked directly to 2 specific GRU agents in a Russian building. (Think about that - how would we have THAT information, if we weren't hacking Russia? hehe - take THAT, Russkies!)

So, Guccifer 2.0 DID the hack, but was created to spread disinfo about the hack, and to stop the official attribution that Russia did it? Read that again. Guccifer2.0 was created to obfuscate the official attribution that Russia did it. But Guccifer2.0 did it. That timeline is odd, is it not? Is the author confused, correct, or just lying? If the author is correct, that means the FBI, etc. KNEW the Russians were hacking the DNC long before Guccifer2.0 came along. So, back into 2015, we knew about the hacks, we knew it was Russians, Guccifer2.0 came along to try and throw FBI off the Russian tracks. That's probably the worst scenario out there, tbh, for the FBI's competence.
So, while yes, it IS possible that more data could be obtained from a non-powered off server, they also could move the server while it is running on a UPS (most servers have multiple power supplies so you can move them from UPS to UPS for as long as you need to keep it running), so I have to simply disagree that getting the physical server is as "stupid" as is claimed. It's just irrelevant.

Lots of experts believe it to be an inside job b/c of the transfer rate of the files meaning it was done by usb likely. The whole thing stinks of intentionally leaked material to warrant a fake investigation. This would explain why the dnc was so reluctant to let people check their servers. If not by USB then on the east coast at the very least.
They'd later find different versions where metadata was added later inserting Russian names. Metadata and documents were even altered after the fact so they could further point the finger at Russia.

My bet is this whole scenario was cooked up to illegally obtain FISA warrants to spy on Trump's campaign. Obama's Administration weaponized by the IRS and FBI against political opponents.

Why isn't everyone reporting on the fact that the DNC's primary funder has openly stated that his goal is to devalue US currency to create a "fairer world". Why isn't there constant reporting on the DNC getting funded by a guy out to wreck our economy. It never ceases to amaze how Social Justice constantly gets used as a smoke screen to manipulate half awake idiots.
