US court confirms danger posed by 'sound cannons'

According to its manufacturer's website, the LRAD is in use in more than 250 cities, counties and US states, and "is not a weapon."

Wtf is it then? It's a device that forcibly deters humans from their location, potentially disabling them.

What about the Bass Cannon though? Can we let the Bass Cannon kick it?
