I'm not sure if this is a fool-proof way to truly make the internet free from censorship because it still requires an ISP to allow it, but it is a step in the right direction. The only thing that is going to save us from a future of government-approved wrongthink-free internet is technology.

I tend not to worry about internet laws changing. If the user is taking care of shit on their end, it doesn't really matter. The only real issue is ISPs, because that is something nobody really has any control over. Technology will have to catch up to avoid this problem, because the only way I can see it realistically being fixed is by using a form of meshnet to decentralise the internet. Currently it would be extremely slow though, so it isn't viable at the moment.
