NASA platform used to launch Apollo 11 to the moon set for demolition

Ugh that sucks. I wish they'd save this stuff. Crowdfund moving it or even sell pieces as memorabilia. Scrapping it is just sad.

Pity that can't be restored and moved to some nice space museum somewhere.
