Creating the map took about a year, according to doctoral student Paul Corlies, first author on "Titan's Topography and Shape at the End of the Cassini Mission."

What an incredible project to get to work on. I always think of these guys/gals daily life and what it must be like to live in their shoes for a day. There are some interesting jobs out there.

While fascinating things do happen in research, the day to day grind is often very dull.
I'm not familiar with astronomy, but I've spent a lot of time in chemistry labs. In there, for every 10 minutes of 'fun' there are 10 weeks of tedium.
It can be exciting to talk about their work. But usually very boring to watch.
