The U.N. plans to pay the Polish State Forests agency to plant 6 million trees to offset the emissions from COP24.

But really, who cares. The emissions of the summit are obviously worth it as under our present systems of governance, action on global warming cannot be taken without this type of political negotiation.

I would also imagine they emit a lot of methane.
