It'll be diluted down to nothing in the ocean. Humans already have radioactive potassium in their bodies. I saw somebody do that math that if a supervillan somehow made all citizens of Japan drink the entire radioactive water being released, the radiation inside the body would only go up by something like 1/4; being fat already gives you more radiation than that just by increased body mass.
I know people are scared of radiation, but statistically people should be scared of a sedentary lifestyle, swimming pools, processed food, alcohol, medical malpractice, and car accidents--not airplanes, shark attacks, terrorists, and radiation.

I don't blame them. The sad thing is that it's not impossible to clean the water up. It's just expensive. Crazy expensive. So instead of doing the right thing, they're going to screw up a lot of the planet.
