It always perplexes me how people tear into every detail of a long term storage site. Yet have no consideration for the conditions of the over flowing short term sites that are scattered throughout the US. Sites that had little no consideration for the impacts of long term storage of highly contaminated compounds.

Yukka mountain is still a no go, and Hanford oozed a few more gallons into the river this week.

It just seems asinine to me.
