How to replace a case fan in 11 simple, yet increasingly frustrating steps

The exhaust fan on the back of my case died recently and the new one arrived today. It should have been a pretty simple operation, I mean it's just a case fan ......right? 1. Stare at the location of the fan, slowly realize how much worse this will be. 2. remove side and top panals. 3. Realize the cpu cooling fan is in the way. 4. Discover the cpu cooling fan can't be removed without removing the top panal brackets. 5. remove disco ball. 6. remove top fan bracket and carefully place it out of the way. 7. Remove cpu cooling fan and carefully place it out of the way. 8. Thank my past self for not screwing in the exhaust fan from inside the case. 9. remove dead fan 10. connect fan to hidden header between GPU and CPU cooler like a gynecologist 11. install fan, replace cooler fan, replace ceiling bracket, replace disco ball.
