Did anyone here ever buy these? I was so tempted to but never did, mainly because my Mom would never have let me.

Same here ... or somebody I knew did and told me they were ripped off. But I do think I may have bought one of those mini-cameras once and found out it took some special film you couldn't really get anywhere. LOL - those were the days. And I signed up to sell Grit newspapers for like a day and a half ... no money in that fiasco.

I sold Grit too. Actually had 20-25 customers in my area. That lasted about 2 weeks, I was 12 I think.

LOL - I lived in a rural area so it was a no win thing from the start. I think a couple of old ladies felt sorry for me and bought a copy ... but it wasn't worth the long bike rides and doors slammed in my face.
Those were the days ... BTW, I saw your response in another thread about the smoking thing. My problem, too. Can barely walk now, which is why I spend so much time on the puter. I call it my self inflicted wound, so can't even complain. Whatcha gonna do, right.
