Well, we're looking at 4-10 inches of rain in a 48 hour period starting Yesterday, which is what we're used to in a year rather than a day, so we're good on water for now. I'd be happy if California could magically have some naturally growing deep-rooted vegetation that doesn't require state-wide sprinkler systems in order to sustain plant life (the joys of living in a terraformed desert). That would fix a lot of the mudslide problems.

Yeah i guess the drought is making these rainfalls way way worse on the infrastructure in the longterm. Guessing it's just a matter of time till the power outages start then! Oh the joys of living in the first world ^
