I notice a conspicuous silence from liberals regarding Islam's treatment of gays, women, minorities, etc. Do we really expect that people from countries with rampant human rights violations and a culture of intolerance will act any different if you put them in London? It's quite a Faustian bargain, and will undermine all the progress that the west has made in becoming the most tolerant and peaceful societies the world has ever seen.

I live in London, I know a lot of people from those countries and they do not behave the way you describe.

Surveys of attitudes of Muslims are easy to find, and they on balance hold more anti-liberal views than even religious extremists from the right. Some examples from British Muslims (but by no means cherry picked)
- 52% believe homesexuality should be illegal
- 32% would contact the police if they believed that somebody close to them had become involved with jihadists
- 23% want Sharia law to replace British law in areas with large Muslim populations

Can anyone legitimately claim integration has been a success and that Muslims are progressive on social issues? We already have too many religious wackos in the west, we don't need any more that are even more barbaric.

Meanwhile in America, cops are racist for doing their jobs, and if you spread legs on the subway or ask a woman for her number, you're sexist.
