Last year they made $2.1B profit. So a slap on the wrist for a megacorp of one quarter earnings. Where are the meaningful consequences? Yet if a regular citizen (with no political connections) writes a bad check, prepare for prison.

Yup. Victims will need to submit documentation I'm sure too, and WU will try to deny as many as possible. Maybe 1/10th of that payout actually happens? Ironically, I'm sure some scam artists will also try to get a piece of these funds.
