My kids aren't home schooled for physical safety, I want them to actually learn something useful and not be helped back by the lowest common denominator. My oldest did kinder and first in a public school and was so damned bored being forced to go over things he'd learned years before that he started hating 'learning'. My kids spend a quarter of the day learning many times more, rather than being forced to sit at a desk all day while a teacher drones on.
