The provisions are supported by consumer advocates and the National Restaurant Association, which wanted to avoid catering to a hodgepodge of requirements from cities and states.

This isn't the worst legislation ever since commerce benefits from transparency, but it really shouldn't be the business of the federal government--even if it makes it convenient. Federal overreach is never ending and usually not to the benefit of citizens.
