Exactly why the teacher was displaying the weapon at all was not entirely clear. Police said he was “providing instruction related to public safety.”... State law and campus rule says no guns..
This guy (police officer) broke the law and pulled out a loaded gun in class. The school was not aware of his actions or intent. There wasn't some gun safety event on the schedule or anything. This guy broke multiple laws, no jail, wtf.

This is why I laugh when people suggest putting more guns in school to 'protect' students.
I am pretty sure that the number of student that get shot is smaller than the number that would be accidentally shot by inept armed teachers. I remember what my teachers were like. I was safer with them unarmed.
And cops? Not a chance. There are not enough cops to go around already. Even now they are so hard up that they have to hire almost any thug that applies. If people are unhappy with some cops now, that would make it so much worse.
But logic is a dying concept.
