Somewhat off topic, but the "Mary Rose" also yielded a trove of artifacts. The most surprising to me was the incredible draw weights of the longbows they found, up too 185 lbs.

It looks like they kept building multiple of the same type of ship until that king died, but yeah it sank on its maiden voyage due to poor design and no one telling the king how many problems it had
