Curious if anyone sees this and gets the overwhelming feeling of how connected we are and how connected we all are to this earth. Something so far away is burning in one part of country but the effects are being felt so far away. It’s quite amazing and can really get your brain thinking.

It's an incredible event, actually. We've been thick with smoke most the summer here in Utah ... but it has also been an unusual weather pattern in effect all summer long, too. We've been stuck with high pressure zones stalling in an area where it allows the winds to carry these directly over us. Low pressure systems have been near non-existent this summer, otherwise it would disperse more normally.

Air quality is seriously fucked in the PNW right now. My chunk of world is not as affected as last year, but still suffering.

However Washington is receiving some of the worst of it right now due to the weather patterns.
