One thing to note is that we first asked the kids to stop several times, then kindly asked the parents to stop the kids from throwing shit over the fence. Next we asked the kids again, told the parents again, and asked the kids to stop for the final time.

They don't get any of this stuff back. If I can't use it, and the kids don't want it, I throw it out.
That air freshener smells quite nice.
Edit: the toddler just found a Transformer and a new truck. He gave them both smooches.
