You know movies are junk and have been junk (on average) for years when all that's talked about for success is revenue. No mention at all in that article about substance, only money. Granted, that's all studios care about, but it's not what makes a movie good. Critically acclaimed means nothing, especially when critics push agendas, and double especially when critics' views of things are different than vast swaths of average viewers/fans.

Critics are being used as advertisers and peer pressure for movies rather than actual reviewers of the substance in those movies.

The notion that Kennedy should step down or be fired because some fans (for reasons either subjectively valid or rooted in racism and sexism) didn’t like The Last Jedi and because Solo flopped is absurd and toxic.

Still pushing this eh?

Oh, and it would be nice to see some women and minorities directing the next Star Wars movies.

No it wouldn't. It would be nice to have someone with talent and that understands Star Wars. It does not matter what color or sex they are.

I didn't hate any of the new movies. Decent action flicks. None of them were memorable.
