Without spoilers which movies have the best and worst endings?

Worst ending I can remember off-hand is The Golden Compass. But then I thought the whole movie was shit.

I would have to think about best ending for a while.

EDIT: I feel like I should say this - why The Golden Compass in particular stuck out since I said it was a bad movie all around.

I saw it in theaters with my wife (then girlfriend). When the last scene was playing (I didn't realize it was the last scene, either, it felt like the end of the second act), and the girl says whatever the fuck she said, and then the screen fades to black, I actually had to restrain myself from saying, in a normal volume "That's it!?!?!?!" I was sorely tempted and almost did. It was the only time I've wanted to speak in a normal voice during a movie.

I wouldn't say it's the worst, but I never did like the ending of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It's by far the most forgettable part of the film, and doesn't do the rest of the movie justice.

Cabin in the Woods has a great ending, I agree. Off the top of my head, I'd say The Usual Suspects has a fantastic ending.

I'm not the biggest fan of this movie however MIB 3 had a great great ending to a trilogy. and for worst? I don't remember bad ones... I guess I erase em. all of em?

Watchmen has the best ending. It's all a fucking joke.
