Lately I've been really digging on the YouTube channel military history visualized and another guy named Bismarck.

I was curious if anyone had some suggestions on other similar guys.

Also, if you're unfamiliar with those I mentioned, I'd recommend checking them out if you're into that kind of stuff.

I assume you're aware of The Great War series
For videos analyzing specific battles in history, I think Baz Battles is pretty good.
For a simplistic summery of historic events there is Extra History.

For the most part I think the bazzillion documentaries that can be found randomly scattered across youtube are what I prefer. I'll search for an event as a start point, then fall into a youtube hole that can lead anywhere.

I've been meaning to check out more of the Great war series. I'm much more interested in WW2 than WW1, so I've always shyed away from that one, although I have seen a few episodes.

Baz battles is one that I've not heard of before, I'll poke around it and check it out later.

Extra History was one I had stumbled across a few times, but didn't know the name of. Thank you for that.

As far as the general documentaries I've been down that path as well. I've grown accustomed to falling asleep to the monotonous narration and find many of the topics quite fascinating.

Yeah,, that's kinda how I do it, too. I'll find something interesting and watch it, then look for more stuff suggested by YT. I rarely even pay attention to who uploaded it.

mostly WW2 documentary channel. unfortunately a stream and not a youtube channel so you are a slave to the playlist but a good number of good documentaries from multiple sides and eras

It's not video but Dan Carlin does an amazing history podcast, I highly recommend his 5 part WWI series (it's like 20 hours)

Hey if I can stream that on my phone with out having my screen unlocked. That may be what I listen to next week.
