Voat pretends to be all about 'Free Sppech', but they don't have a fucking clue what it means.

eg.. "Have your say", but we'll downvoat your account until you are effectively banned if your say doesn't conform to the circle jerk.

Here you have some guys burning the flag. This is Constitutionally Protected Free Speech.

Some FedEx guy assaults them, steals their property and physically shits all over their rights.

Voat calls him a hero.

The hypocrisy is palpable.

The ignorance and stupidity are willful and widespread.

I feel like "assault" is stretching a bit. There wasn't even a fight. I also think if you're trying to be provocative, you shouldn't be surprised when someone gets provoked.

I don't agree with either of these guys, but ultimately they're both standing up for what they believe in, and I agree with that.
