Anytime I make a comment on Voat criticizing the site, I just get dismissed because I use to be a mod of Videos. Apparently because I volunteered my time for a year, I no longer am allowed to have an opinion on Voat.

Ya, I'm not sure how they don't see how hypocritical they are being. They laugh at reddit for eating all of Spezs shit. But they do the same thing anytime Atko or Puttitout grace them with their presence.

Yeah I noticed that to, Atko is holy for some weird reason. Anyone who calls him out on anything is instantly attacked by PV... It's total hypocrasy central over there. They point fingers at others while they do all kinds of dodgy shit that even SRS wouldn't do.
This shit is a prime example of one of their "knights of free speech"....their hypocrasy is staggering and they are actually starting to speak on behalf of voaters........!
It's the same on anything over there mate. PV is using all kind of tactics to discredit others while they are running contributors of the site and just plain brigading/bullying. Mention anything those bastards did wrong and it's always downplayed while others might only have posted in the wrong sub and are witchhunted forever.
I tried to have a normal discussion about the rulechanges on /v/news for example, even pinged kevdude and news mods. Immidiatly PV shoots into overdrive, accuses me of being in cahoots with news mods, im a troll cause SDBH (my 900+ posts to /v/news don't matter it seems) and they post a sticky on their sub so they can brigade. When calling them out on brigading... kevin always says "but i'm not saying users should downvote".....
It's a fucking mess, PV hijacked the site and admins are either to pussy or tolazy to give a shit.
Thing they do not understand is that you need critical users to improve your site. If everyone keeps saying "yes yes" and circlejerk together, you will get no further.
IMO voat has been sick and is rapidly dying, and I'm very happy we got a new home.
