If you were banned from any subverse for any reason, you will also be banned globally and therefore unable to delete your account.
What the fuck is with that anyway? Even if you were banned globally why should that be a reason to be unable to delete an account?
I'm still half convinced that this whole thing is a troll to get people to delete their accounts.
On a serious note, its pretty strange that this bug would happen at all. I know pretty much nothing about how voat is coded, but I can't imagine how a subverse ban could be confused with an admin ban, or why that code would be modified at all.
Either way, I'm done with voat for unrelated reasons.

I was likely banned by HenryCorp at some time or another ... who wasn't - LOL. It sucks if that's the kicker, though I'm keeping my account just to drop by and lurk on occasion, so haven't tried to delete.
