Congratulations!

Meanwhile in the Netherlands it's still illegal and no movement towards legalization in over a decade.

Contrary to popular belief weed is not legal but part of it is decriminalized, growing it is still very illegal

It's interesting to me how the Netherlands has a reputation of being a pot-paradise.
But use among the locals is lower than most other Euro/American countrys. It's the tourists and Amsterdam that give it the reputation.

Well we had coffeeshops for over 4-5 decades now, which was unique in the world for a long time. The normal acces to weed, sort off normalized the whole process in our community. Unlike other countries we have exposure to them from the age of 18 so it's not considered special, naughty or cool. Now we are being passed by the Swiss, the US and now Canada.

Think about 1/4th of all the coffeshops in NL are Amsterdam based. For all the pothead Murican and wanker Brits!
