It's Friday night and we're doing the weekly guitar thread - but... I just made a comment and wanted to share with you folks.

I'm just gonna cut/paste it. 'Snot much more text that's needed, except to say that pretty soon Ol' Buddha's gonna be smashing snow. We've got a hard frost rolling in tonight.

Anyhow, this was my comment and I've been sharing pictures of Maine with you - so I figured I'd save some time and share these with you:

Hold on! Lemme get you pics from yesterday. I made EH drive me! She's never driven before. So, we came back along the back roads and I had her stop to take a few pics.

Soon!!!!! The leaves are still pretty muted, but will peak soon. I expect they'll peak this coming week, but that was down at a lower elevation and the sky was pretty cloudy.

I should also add that I'm thinking the colors may be a bit muted this year, due to the weather. We've had some pretty wet weather this year and the leaves really aren't all that vibrant yet. Still, I think it's pretty beautiful.

Still you could have taken pictures of a muscle car or some statue but you took pictures of nice looking trees. That's what the appreciation is for.

That makes me realize something. I'd have to make a deliberate effort to not have trees in my pictures outside. Like, seriously... There's a ton of trees here.

Also, I just closed and reopened Firefox. It's a mentally handicapped browser, so I need to do that once in a while - else it gets mad at me. When I reopen it, it often has surprise tabs!

Damned right, they're like little presents!

For some reason, this was in one of those tabs - except I'm not sure why I ever uploaded it or when I last had that tab open. It sure as hell wasn't during my last browsing session! Still, you might like it.
