I don't think forcing content is what keeps things interesting really. When I made this sub I was under the impression that more subs would attract more people to make content but I think that was wishful thinking. Where my thinking is at right now, is subverses don't really matter that much on smaller site like this because most people scan s/all anyway and find stuff through there. On larger site like Reddit you actually need to be subscribed to keep up with what you're interested in.
