Imagine your fuel tank is empty when it hits a quarter full.

This little tip has saved me multiple times. I've often gone under 1/4 but I've never run out of fuel. I have rescued family and friends multiple times when they run out of fuel though, usually going up a hill. You can also apply this to your bank account/redraw but that's easier said than done for most of us. It helped me quite a few times as well though.
