I was already astray when I discovered jazz. I'd always thought jazz was just the music I heard when a movie/tv show was set in New Orleans. That style, I don't care for at all.

Live and learn.

Today was sort of okay, but too much bs between songs.

I agree. We used to go a lot of live music shows. Birdland, the Blue Note, Terra Blues, we were out a few nights a week. We have season tickets to the Met and managed a musical or play 2-3 times a month, too. That stopped when PJ was born. I didn't want to leave him with anyone if I could possibly avoid it. Now that he's older and I'm less paranoid, no one is performing.

I hope they lock in a vaccine, soon.
