Gee, if they don't have guns, what do you think happens? They use something else. Acid, pipe bombs, white gas/charcoal starter under a door threshold (it's a UK thing), arson...

A prime example is knife violence increasing at an alarming rate: https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/stabbing-deaths-by-country

This is not some, "oh, those crazy 'Murican's" problem. It's a world-wide issue. The US gets the press about it because, why? Pick a network, pick any network. They have offices and stringers in every major city and take feeds from affiliates throughout North America. Europe, too, for that matter.

The shooters are crazy. It's about that simple. Nuts. Fruitcakes.

Peruse the origin of the phrase, running amok.

Removing guns from the equation is not the solution.

True

The US gets the press about it because, why?

It happens often in the US due to the high population. Also US media is all over it and international media copies US headline stories.

The shooters are crazy. It's about that simple.

Maybe it's not that simple, many of the school shooters were on psychopharmaceticals. Meds in inappropriate dosage can cause someone, who would be considered normal, go rampage, like some illegal drugs do.

Peruse the origin of the phrase, running amok.

They totally miss 'going postal' which has at least two video games and the only watchable movie by Uwe Böll; seriously, don't try to watch any other movie of him.

Removing guns from the equation is not the solution.

I agree

I think the drug use is a result of them already being messed up mentally, not a root cause.

There're numerous incidents of random knife attacks worldwide. They don't get as much press because the body counts are low, but the craziness is there. It's not going away and it's getting worse.
