There is no way to verify what their logging policies actually are, so that factor should not be trusted. The other factors are at least objective, so this guide could be useful for those who are willing to send all of their traffic to a company's computer for $4.99/month.

I trust the vpn company I use more than my ISP.

I agree ISPs are generally very untrustworthy, so maybe the feeling is that anything else must be better. But what makes the VPN company more trustworthy? There seem to be roughly three types of VPN operators * honeypots * scam operators (or those running a very low quality of service and in it just for the money) * privacy and free-speech supporters

The third group is the VPN provider you want, but how can you tell which is which?

True I just follow my feeling, with allot of things to because there is so much deception. hope I got one from the third group but ill never know.

I trust my ProtonVPN - I already trust them with my email. I wouldn't try to stream Netflix or YouTube through it, but it's reliable and the company is based in Switzerland.
