We had the same situation in San Diego ~2 years ago. It was largely the homeless population spreading it because there is a surprisingly large (and organized) homeless pop near the city that moves in and out of downtown constantly. They built some public restrooms and gave a bunch of people shots and now it's contained. I even got a call from my doctor trying to get me a vaccine.
