I sure hope not. They have enough troubles already and I want to have a place to go hide come the cold weather,
The people securing our home called last night to say they found dozens of plywood window covers in a crawlspace. They were going to home depot for plywood and looked in there for ladders :-) It's odd because we don't have more than 20 or so windows. We're on the west slope of the wash facing diamond head on the west side of Oahu, so we might not get beat up as we were thinking.
I'm kind of glad we aren't there.
My parents have been through several hurricanes in Florida and they are not the most fun thing to live through. They have hurricane shutters installed though so they don't have to do the plywood thing every few years, which is convenient.
We'll be getting roll-up security panels for all the doors and windows in the fall.
The hurricane footage on the news always scares me. I like placid weather.
